Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Jovial Travels, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation terms are designed to remain transparent while considering supplier commitments.

1. Cancellation Requests

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to reservations@jovialtravels.com
  • Cancellations are effective only upon acknowledgment by Jovial Travels

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • 30 days or more before departure – 25% of total package cost
  • 15–29 days before departure – 50% of total package cost
  • 7–14 days before departure – 75% of total package cost
  • Less than 7 days / No Show – 100% of total package cost

Certain peak season, promotional, or discounted bookings may be fully non-refundable. Supplier-specific cancellation policies may override the above where applicable.

3. Flights & Airline Tickets

  • Subject to airline fare rules and policies
  • Tickets may be non-refundable or partially refundable
  • Airline penalties and service charges apply

4. Hotels, Transfers & Tours

  • Cancellation terms vary by supplier
  • Non-refundable bookings will be charged in full

5. Visa Fees

Visa processing fees are strictly non-refundable once submitted.

6. Refunds

  • Processed within 14–30 working days
  • Issued via original payment method
  • Bank charges, transaction fees, and currency differences will be deducted

7. Amendments

  • Subject to availability
  • Additional charges and rate differences may apply

8. Force Majeure

In case of unforeseen events such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions:

  • Date changes or credit notes may be offered
  • Refunds depend on supplier recoveries
  • Non-recoverable costs are not refundable

9. No Show Policy

Failure to utilize services without prior notice will be treated as a no show, and no refunds will be provided.

Payment Policy

10. Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30%–50% is required to confirm bookings
  • Bookings are not guaranteed until payment is received

11. Full Payment

  • Full payment must be completed 15–30 days prior to departure
  • Bookings within this period require 100% immediate payment

12. Payment Methods

  • Bank transfer
  • Credit / Debit cards
  • Secure online payment links

All transaction and bank charges are borne by the client.

13. Pricing & Currency Fluctuations

  • Prices may change due to exchange rate fluctuations
  • Supplier rate changes or government taxes
  • Surcharges may apply after booking if external conditions change

14. Failure to Pay

  • May result in automatic cancellation
  • Deposit may be forfeited

15. Amendments

  • Subject to availability and supplier approval
  • Additional charges may apply

16. Liability Disclaimer

Jovial Travels acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers.

  • Not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions
  • Not responsible for loss, injury, or damage during travel
  • Clients are advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
