Day 01 ( Airport to Habarana )

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), you’ll be transferred Habarana (approx. 4 hours). Enjoy the journey through diverse landscapes, including greenery and rural villages. Upon arrival, relax and unwind amidst the tranquility of Habarana, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 02 (Habarana – Polonnaruwa – Minneriya – Habarana)

This morning drive to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (approx. 1-hour drive) to explore its well-preserved ruins, stupas, and statues.

Optional:
– Hot Air Ballooning = US$ 240 per person (Subject to weather conditions, operating only during Nov – Apr)

In the afternoon, visit Minneriya National Park (approx. 30-minute drive) for an exhilarating safari. Return to Habarana for a restful evening.

Day 03 (Habarana – Sigiriya – Village Tour – Habarana)

Start your journey from Habarana to Sigiriya Rock Fortress (approx. 30-minute drive). Climb the iconic rock, marveling at its ancient frescoes and the ruins of King Kashyapa’s palace.

Afterward, immerse yourself in local culture with a village tour and cooking demonstration, learning traditional Sri Lankan culinary techniques. Return to Habarana to relax.

DAY 04 (Habarana – Pidurangala – Spice Garden – Kandy Temple – Kandy)

Depart from Habarana to Pidurangala Rock (approx. 30-minute drive). Climb for panoramic views of Sigiriya and the surrounding landscape.

Then, visit a spice garden en route to Kandy (approx. 2-hour drive), where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s renowned spices.

In Kandy, explore the revered Temple of the Tooth, experiencing its spiritual and
cultural significance.

DAY 05 (Kandy – Ramboda Falls – Tea Plantation – Shri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil – Nuwara Eliya)

Today, leave Kandy and head to Nuwara Eliya. En route, stop near Ramboda Falls and marvel at the stunning waterfall which is a photo stop. Continue to a tea plantation and factory (approx. 30-minute drive) to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous Ceylon tea production and enjoy a tasting. Visit the Shri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil (approx. 20-minute drive) for a touch of spirituality before heading to Nuwara Eliya (approx. 1-hour drive) to unwind in this picturesque hill town.

DAY 06 (Nuwara Eliya – Hakgala Gardens – Seetha Amman Kovil – Nuwara Eliya)

Depart from Nuwara Eliya to Hakgala Botanical Gardens (approx. 30-minute drive), renowned for its diverse plant species and tranquil surroundings.

Explore the gardens before visiting the Seetha Amman Kovil (approx. 20-minute drive), a temple steeped in Hindu mythology. Return to Nuwara Eliya to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this charming hill town, known for its cool climate and British colonial architecture
